निहतां तां ततो दृष्ट्वा मुनीन् जिगमिषूंस्तथा । उवाच गौतमो धीमांस्तान् मुनीन् प्रणतः स्थितः ॥ ७१.२५ ॥

ಅವಳು ಹತಳಾದುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಮುನಿಗಳು ಹೊರಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡು, ಧೀಮಂತನಾದ ಗೌತಮನು ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ನಿಂತು ಆ ಮುನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು।
