The Padmanābha Dvādaśī Observance, with the Eulogy of Lamp-Offering Merit

सा स्त्री धन्या तथा शूद्रो द्विजसुश्रूषणे रतः । तदनुज्ञया हरेर्भक्तिः स्त्री शूद्रो तेन साध्विति ॥ ४९.३२ ॥

sā strī dhanyā tathā śūdro dvija-suśrūṣaṇe rataḥ | tad-anujñayā harer bhaktiḥ strī śūdro tena sādhv iti || 49.32 ||

ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಧನ್ಯಳು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದ್ವಿಜರ ಶുശ್ರೂಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾದ ಆ ಶೂದ್ರನೂ ಧನ್ಯನು. ಅವರ ಅನುಮತಿಯಿಂದ ಹರಿಭಕ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯ; ಅದರಿಂದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಶೂದ್ರರು ಸಾಧ್ವಿ/ಸಾಧು ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
