imaṃ sarvātithiṃ dāntaṃ sarvabhūtānukampakam || samānna-dāna-dātāraṃ śeṣabhojana-bhojinam ||

Translation

ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ—ಇವನು ದಾಂತನಾದ ಸಂಯಮಿ, ಎಲ್ಲ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತಿಥ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವನು, ಎಲ್ಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವನು; ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಮತ್ತು ಉಳಿದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೇ ಭೋಜಿಸುವವನು.
