एवमुक्त्वा तिरोभावं गतोऽहं सोऽपि चिन्तयन् । आस्ते यावज्जगद्धात्री नाध्यगच्छत किञ्चन ॥ २.१३ ॥

ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ನಾನು ಅಂತರಧಾನನಾದೆನು; ಅವನೂ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಲೀನನಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲೀಯೇ ಇದ್ದನು. ಜಗದ್ದಾತ್ರಿ (ಕಾಲಮಿತಿ) ಇರುವಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಅವನು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿರ್ಣಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ।
