पण्डिताय च दातव्यं यश्च शास्त्रविशारदः ॥ एतन्मरणकालेऽपि धारयेद्यः समाहितः

paṇḍitāya ca dātavyaṁ yaś ca śāstraviśāradaḥ || etan maraṇakāle 'pi dhārayed yaḥ samāhitaḥ

ಇದನ್ನು ಪಂಡಿತನಿಗೆ—ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಂಗತನಾದವನಿಗೆ—ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಯಾರು ಸಮಾಹಿತನಾಗಿ ಮರಣಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಈ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನು ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯನು।
