An Exposition on the Causes of Happiness and Suffering

एकचित्तः समास्थाय अहङ्कारविवर्ज्जितः ॥ मच्चित्तसंहतॊ नित्यं क्षान्तो दान्तो जितेन्द्रियः

ekacittaḥ samāsthāya ahaṅkāravivarjjitaḥ || maccittasaṃhato nityaṃ kṣānto dānto jitendriyaḥ

ಏಕಚಿತ್ತನಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿ, ಅಹಂಕಾರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ; ನಿತ್ಯ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಏಕಾಗ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಕ್ಷಮಾಶೀಲ, ದಾಂತನಾಗಿ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಜಯಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
