Prashna

एतद्वै सत्यकाम परं चापरं च ब्रह्म यद् ओङ्कारः । तस्माद् विद्वान् एतेनैवायतनेनैकतरम् अन्वेति ॥२॥

एतत् । वै । सत्यकाम । परम् । च । अपरम् । च । ब्रह्म । यत् । ओङ्कारः । तस्मात् । विद्वान् । एतेन । एव । आयतनेन । एकतरम् । अन्वेति ॥२॥

etad vai satyakāma paraṃ cāparaṃ ca brahma yad oṅkāraḥ | tasmād vidvān etenaivāyatanenaikataram anveti ||2||

ಹೇ ಸತ್ಯಕಾಮ, ಈ ಓಂಕಾರವೇ ಪರವೂ ಅಪರವೂ ಆದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಈ ಒಂದೇ ಆಧಾರದಿಂದ ಎರಡರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಅನುಸಂಧಾನಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ ॥೨॥

This, indeed, O Satyakāma, is Brahman—both the higher and the lower—namely the syllable Oṃ. Therefore the knower, by this very support, attains one of the two.
