अगस्त्य उवाच । इति स्तुतः प्रसन्नात्मा वरदो गरुडध्वजः । ववर्ष दृष्टिसुधया सर्वान्देवान्कृपान्वितः । उवाच मधुरं वाक्यं प्रश्रयावनतान्सुरान्
agastya uvāca | iti stutaḥ prasannātmā varado garuḍadhvajaḥ | vavarṣa dṛṣṭisudhayā sarvāndevānkṛpānvitaḥ | uvāca madhuraṃ vākyaṃ praśrayāvanatānsurān
ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಇಂತೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರದ ಗರುಡಧ್ವಜ ಪ್ರಭು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಚಿತ್ತನಾದನು. ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುಧೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೂ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ವಂಗಿದ ಸುರರಿಗೆ ಮಧುರ ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿದನು।
