ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಈಶಾನ (ಉತ್ತರ-ಪೂರ್ವ) ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಹದಿನಾರು ಧನುಷ್ಯಗಳ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ, ‘ತ್ರ್ಯಂಬಕೇಶ್ವರ’ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಯಂ ರುದ್ರನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
