अस्ति सांबपुरं देवि तत्रस्थं परमेश्वरि । तस्यैवोत्तरदिग्भागे स्थानं कापालिकं स्मृतम्
asti sāṃbapuraṃ devi tatrasthaṃ parameśvari | tasyaivottaradigbhāge sthānaṃ kāpālikaṃ smṛtam
ಹೇ ದೇವಿ, ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ! ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಬಪುರವೆಂಬ ನಗರವಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಕಾಪಾಲಿಕ-ಸ್ಥಾನ’ವೆಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
