पूर्वकल्पे महादेवि ब्रह्मेश्वर इति स्मृतः । ब्रह्मणाराधितः पूर्वं वर्षाणामयुतं प्रिये
pūrvakalpe mahādevi brahmeśvara iti smṛtaḥ | brahmaṇārādhitaḥ pūrvaṃ varṣāṇāmayutaṃ priye
ಹೇ ಮಹಾದೇವಿ, ಪೂರ್ವಕಲ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮೇಶ್ವರ’ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು; ಪ್ರಿಯೆ, ಹಿಂದೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದನು।
