भूतेशरुद्रं संपूज्य गच्छेद्वै मुक्तिमव्ययाम् । इति संक्षेपतः प्रोक्तमादि रुद्रस्य कीर्तनम् । कीर्तनीयं द्विजातीनां कीर्तितं पुण्यवर्द्धनम्
bhūteśarudraṃ saṃpūjya gacchedvai muktimavyayām | iti saṃkṣepataḥ proktamādi rudrasya kīrtanam | kīrtanīyaṃ dvijātīnāṃ kīrtitaṃ puṇyavarddhanam
ಭೂತೇಶ್ವರ-ರುದ್ರನನ್ನು ಸಮ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪೂಜಿಸಿದವನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವ್ಯಯವಾದ ಮುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಆದಿ-ರುದ್ರನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಸಂಕ್ಷೇಪವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಇದು ದ್ವಿಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೀಯ; ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿದರೆ ಪುಣ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
