आप्लुतो वाजिमेधस्य फलं प्राप्स्यति पुष्कलम् । नियमैश्चोपवासैश्च शोषयेद्देहमात्मनः
āpluto vājimedhasya phalaṃ prāpsyati puṣkalam | niyamaiścopavāsaiśca śoṣayeddehamātmanaḥ
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧಯಜ್ಞಫಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಅಪಾರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉಪವಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿ—ಶೋಷಿಸುವಂತೆ—ಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು.
