संप्राप्ता तन्महातीर्थं फलदं सर्वदेहिनाम् । आमर्दकी संगमं तं नापुण्यो वेद कश्चन । संगमेश्वरनामेति तत्र लिंगं प्रतिष्ठितम्
saṃprāptā tanmahātīrthaṃ phaladaṃ sarvadehinām | āmardakī saṃgamaṃ taṃ nāpuṇyo veda kaścana | saṃgameśvaranāmeti tatra liṃgaṃ pratiṣṭhitam
ಆ ಮಹಾತೀರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಹಧಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಫಲಪ್ರದವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಮರ್ದಕೀ ಸಂಗಮವು ಪುಣ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಸಂಗಮೇಶ್ವರ’ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮದ ಲಿಂಗ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
