नापुण्यवद्भिः संप्राप्तुं पुंभिः शक्या महानदी । प्राची सरस्वती देवि सर्वत्र च सुदुर्लभा । विशेषेण कुरुक्षेत्रे प्रभासे पुष्करे तथा
nāpuṇyavadbhiḥ saṃprāptuṃ puṃbhiḥ śakyā mahānadī | prācī sarasvatī devi sarvatra ca sudurlabhā | viśeṣeṇa kurukṣetre prabhāse puṣkare tathā
ಪುಣ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪುರುಷರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಹಾನದಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೇ ದೇವಿ! ಪ್ರಾಚೀ (ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ) ಸರಸ್ವತೀ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದುರ್ಲಭ—ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ, ಪ್ರಭಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಷ್ಕರದಲ್ಲಿ.
