tatra kṣetre naraḥ snātvā athavārkasthale śubhe | mṛdā śukla tilaiścaiva kapilāsaṃgame śubhe

ಆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ, ಅಥವಾ ಶುಭ ಅರ್ಕಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ; ಕಪಿಲಾ ನದಿಯ ಶುಭ ಸಂಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಳಿ ಎಳ್ಳಿನಿಂದ (ವಿಧಿ) ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು।
