ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ರಾಜನು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ತೀರ್ಥಯಾತ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಮೋಕ್ಷದ ಲಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪರಮ ಶೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದನು।
