एवं तलस्वामिचरित्रमुत्तमं श्रुतं पुरा सिद्धमहर्षिसंघैः । श्रुत्वा प्रभावं तलदेवसन्निधौ प्राप्नोति सर्वं मनसा यदीप्सितम्
evaṃ talasvāmicaritramuttamaṃ śrutaṃ purā siddhamaharṣisaṃghaiḥ | śrutvā prabhāvaṃ taladevasannidhau prāpnoti sarvaṃ manasā yadīpsitam
ಈ ರೀತಿ ತಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಈ ಉತ್ತಮನಾದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಪುರಾಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸಂಘಗಳು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ತಲದೇವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
