Transliteration

īśvara uvāca | sāṃbādityācca pūrveṇa kiñcidāgneyasaṃsthitaḥ | aparanārāyaṇonāma yasmānnāsti paro bhuvi

Translation

ಈಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಸಾಂಬಾದಿತ್ಯದ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಆಗ್ನೇಯ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತವಾದ ‘ಅಪರನಾರಾಯಣ’ ಎಂಬ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಿದೆ; ಭುವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವು ಇಲ್ಲ।
