तस्योत्पत्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि शृणुष्वैकमनाः प्रिये । पुरा पंचशिरा आसीद्ब्रह्मा लोकपितामहः
tasyotpattiṃ pravakṣyāmi śṛṇuṣvaikamanāḥ priye | purā paṃcaśirā āsīdbrahmā lokapitāmahaḥ
ಅದರ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು—ಹೇ ಪ್ರಿಯೆ, ಏಕಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಕೇಳು. ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕಪಿತಾಮಹನಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಪಂಚಶಿರಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು।
