ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि च्छायालिंगमिति स्मृतम् । उत्तरे न्यंकुमत्याश्च बह्वाश्चर्यं महत्फलम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi cchāyāliṃgamiti smṛtam | uttare nyaṃkumatyāśca bahvāścaryaṃ mahatphalam
ಈಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅನಂತರ, ಹೇ ಮಹಾದೇವಿ, ‘ಛಾಯಾಲಿಂಗ’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಅದು ನ್ಯಂಕುಮತಿಯ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ—ಅತೀವ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರ—ಮಹಾ ಪುಣ್ಯಫಲದಾಯಕ।
