शुनोमुख उवाच । मया हृतानि सर्वेषां बिसानीमानि वै द्विजाः । धर्मं वै श्रोतुकामेन जानीध्वं मां पुरंदरम्

śunomukha uvāca | mayā hṛtāni sarveṣāṃ bisānīmāni vai dvijāḥ | dharmaṃ vai śrotukāmena jānīdhvaṃ māṃ puraṃdaram

ಶುನೋಮುಖನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೇ ದ್ವಿಜರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಈ ಬಿಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ; ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದ ನನನ್ನು ಪುರಂದರ (ಇಂದ್ರ) ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ।
