शृणु तेषां फलं वत्स भविष्यति निशाकर । न तेषां जायते व्याधिर्न दारिद्र्यं न दुर्गतिः । न चेष्टेन वियोगश्च मम चंद्र प्रभावतः
śṛṇu teṣāṃ phalaṃ vatsa bhaviṣyati niśākara | na teṣāṃ jāyate vyādhirna dāridryaṃ na durgatiḥ | na ceṣṭena viyogaśca mama caṃdra prabhāvataḥ
ಹೇ ವತ್ಸ, ಹೇ ನಿಶಾಕರ! ಅವರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು—ಅವರಿಗೆ ರೋಗವಿಲ್ಲ, ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ದುರ್ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇಷ್ಟವಾದುದರಿಂದ ವಿಯೋಗವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದರು.
