īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi hiraṇyāpārśvataḥ sthitam | pratyuktaṃ nāgarādityaṃ sarvavyādhivināśanam
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Nāgarāditya
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva (Īśvara) instructs Devī on the next pilgrimage stop: a radiant Sun-deity shrine labeled Nāgarāditya beside the flowing Hiraṇyā; pilgrims approach with folded hands, offering water (arghya).
Faithful pilgrimage to a sanctified Sūrya-site is praised as a dharmic path to bodily and spiritual purification, including relief from disease.
Nāgarāditya, a Sun-associated sacred spot in Prabhāsa Kṣetra, located near the place called Hiraṇyā.
A clear prescription of pilgrimage—‘one should go’ (gacchet)—to the Nāgarāditya site for its healing merit.
