देवा ऊचुः । दशानामश्वमेधानां श्रद्धया फलमाप्स्यति । दशाश्वमेधिकंनाम तीर्थमेतन्महीतले । ख्यातिं यास्यति राजेंद्र नात्र कार्या विचारणा
devā ūcuḥ | daśānāmaśvamedhānāṃ śraddhayā phalamāpsyati | daśāśvamedhikaṃnāma tīrthametanmahītale | khyātiṃ yāsyati rājeṃdra nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು— “ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವನು. ಹೇ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತೀರ್ಥ ‘ದಶಾಶ್ವಮೇಧಿಕ’ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯ ಬೇಡ।”
