tatastasmai dadau rājyaṃ prājyaṃ brahmā pitāmahaḥ | bījauṣadhīnāṃ viprāṇāmavannānāṃ ca varānane
Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Varānanā Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Brahmā, four-faced and resplendent, grants Soma a flourishing kingdom; around them are symbols of seeds, medicinal plants, and granaries, indicating prosperity for brāhmaṇas and the hungry.
A sacrifice performed in a sacred place bears fruit as both worldly order (rājya) and welfare for society—food, medicine, and support for brāhmaṇas and the needy.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), praised as a place where rites yield expansive, welfare-giving results.
The verse implies yajña-fruit: the sacred rite culminates in boons that support agriculture (seeds), healing (herbs), and charity-oriented welfare.
