Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 90

श्मशानेष्वपि तेजस्वी पावको नैव दुष्यति । हूयमानश्च यज्ञेषु भूय एवाभिवर्द्धते

śmaśāneṣvapi tejasvī pāvako naiva duṣyati | hūyamānaśca yajñeṣu bhūya evābhivarddhate

ಶ್ಮಶಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಪಾವಕನು ದೂಷಿತನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹುತಿ ದೊರೆತಾಗ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
