आकाशे प्रक्षिपेद्वापि स्थितो वा दक्षिणामुखः । पितॄणां स्थानमाकाशं दक्षिणा चैव दिक्तथा
ākāśe prakṣipedvāpi sthito vā dakṣiṇāmukhaḥ | pitṝṇāṃ sthānamākāśaṃ dakṣiṇā caiva diktathā
ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅರ್ಪಣವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಿಪಿಸಬಹುದು, ಅಥವಾ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಮುಖವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ಸಹ ನೀಡಬಹುದು. ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಆಕಾಶವೇ; ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರ ದಿಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
