द्विहायनस्य वत्सस्य विशंत्यास्यं यथा सुखम् । तथा कुर्यात्प्रमाणेन पिण्डान्व्यासेन भाषितम्
dvihāyanasya vatsasya viśaṃtyāsyaṃ yathā sukham | tathā kuryātpramāṇena piṇḍānvyāsena bhāṣitam
ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದ ಕರುದ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು—ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಾಸರು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
