ज्योत्स्नाभिर्भगवान्सोमो जगतो हितकाम्यया । ततस्तस्मै ददौ राज्यं ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां वरः

Transliteration

jyotsnābhirbhagavānsomo jagato hitakāmyayā | tatastasmai dadau rājyaṃ brahmā brahmavidāṃ varaḥ

Translation

ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸ್ನೆಯಿಂದ, ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿ, ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಿದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು.
