trailokyamidamavyagraṃ maheṃdreṇa tu pālitam | tretāyuge tu daśame kārttavīryo mahābalaḥ

Translation

ಈ ತ್ರಿಲೋಕವು ಮಹೇಂದ್ರನಿಂದ ನಿರ್ವ್ಯಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸುಪಾಲಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ತ್ರೇತಾಯುಗದ ದಶಮ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಯಾದ ಕಾರ್ತ್ತವೀರ್ಯನು ಉದಯಿಸಿದನು.
