बिभेत्यल्पश्रुताद्वेदो मामयं चालयिष्यति । इतिहासपुराणैस्तु निश्चलोऽयं कृतः पुरा
bibhetyalpaśrutādvedo māmayaṃ cālayiṣyati | itihāsapurāṇaistu niścalo'yaṃ kṛtaḥ purā
ವೇದವು ಅಲ್ಪಶ್ರುತನನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತದೆ—‘ಇವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಚಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವನು’ ಎಂದು. ಆದರೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸ-ಪುರಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅದು ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ, ಅಚಲವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ।
