आग्नेय्यां हृदयं न्यस्य ऐशान्यां तु शिरो न्यसेत् । नैरृत्यां तु शिखां चैव कवचं वायुगोचरे
āgneyyāṃ hṛdayaṃ nyasya aiśānyāṃ tu śiro nyaset | nairṛtyāṃ tu śikhāṃ caiva kavacaṃ vāyugocare
ಆಗ್ನೇಯ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೃದಯ-ನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ, ಈಶಾನ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿರ-ನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನೈಋತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಖೆಯನ್ನು, ವಾಯವ್ಯ (ವಾಯು ಪ್ರದೇಶ)ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕವಚ-ನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು।
