वृतो ब्रह्मा भार्यया स ऋत्विग्भिर्वेदपारगैः । हूयन्ते चाग्नयस्तत्र ब्राह्मणैर्वेदपारगैः
vṛto brahmā bhāryayā sa ṛtvigbhirvedapāragaiḥ | hūyante cāgnayastatra brāhmaṇairvedapāragaiḥ
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಪತ್ನಿಯೊಡನೆ ವೇದಪಾರಂಗತ ಋತ್ವಿಜರಿಂದ ವೃತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದವಿದ್ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಅಗ್ನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
