तस्माद्धिरण्यकशिपुः प्रह्रादस्तस्य चात्मजः । प्रह्रादस्य सुतो नाम्ना विरोचन इति स्मृतः

Transliteration

tasmāddhiraṇyakaśipuḥ prahrādastasya cātmajaḥ | prahrādasya suto nāmnā virocana iti smṛtaḥ

Translation

ಅವನಿಂದ ಹಿರಣ್ಯಕಶಿಪು ಜನಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದನು. ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದನ ಪುತ್ರನು ‘ವಿರೋಚನ’ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
