rathāgre śāṃḍilīputraṃ pūjayitvā vidhānataḥ | brāhmaṇānvācayitvā ca kṛtvā puṇyāhamaṃgalam

ರಥದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂಡಿಲೀಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನ ಪಠಣ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ‘ಪುಣ್ಯಾಹ’ ಮಂಗಳಕರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು.
