पुलस्त्य उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्नृपश्रेष्ठ तीर्थं त्रैलोक्यविश्रुतम् । केदारमिति विख्यातं सर्वपापहरं नृणाम्
pulastya uvāca | tato gacchennṛpaśreṣṭha tīrthaṃ trailokyaviśrutam | kedāramiti vikhyātaṃ sarvapāpaharaṃ nṛṇām
ಪುಲಸ್ತ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ನೃಪಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ! ತದನಂತರ ತ್ರೈಲೋಕ್ಯವಿಖ್ಯಾತ ‘ಕೇದಾರ’ ಎಂಬ ತೀರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಮಾನವರ ಸರ್ವಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಣಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
