tatra saṃsthāpite liṃge svayaṃ devena śaṃbhunā | yatpātitaṃ purā liṃgaṃ vālakhilyairmaharṣibhiḥ

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ದೇವ ಶಂಭುವೇ ಲಿಂಗವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಹಿಂದೆ ವಾಲಖಿಲ್ಯ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಪಾತಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅದೇ ಲಿಂಗವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತವಾಯಿತು।
