atha dṛṣṭvā tadā dūtaṃ staṃbhitaṃ mudgalena tu | vadhārthaṃ tūdyatastasya sa vajraṃ bhrāmayaṃstadā
Pulastya (narration)
Tirtha: Māmu-hrada
Type: kund
Scene: Indra on Airāvata sees the messenger frozen; Indra lifts and whirls the vajra, lightning-like arcs around it, while the pond and sage’s aura remain calm and unshaken.
When ego escalates to violence, dharma is tested; the Purāṇas warn that brute force cannot master spiritual realization.
The confrontation unfolds in the Arbuda Khaṇḍa’s sacred setting (linked earlier with Māmu-hrada).
None; the verse describes the threatened use of the vajra.
