मम तेजोविनिर्दग्धः कृष्णत्वं हि यतो गतः । कृष्ण एव ततो नाम लोके ख्यातिं गमिष्यति
mama tejovinirdagdhaḥ kṛṣṇatvaṃ hi yato gataḥ | kṛṣṇa eva tato nāma loke khyātiṃ gamiṣyati
ನನ್ನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ದಗ್ಧನಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಕೃಷ್ಣವರ್ಣನಾದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ‘ಕೃಷ್ಣ’ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮವೇ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದು.
