स्तनं धयन्तीं सुस्निग्धां शिशोः क्षीरानुरागिणः । सा तेन विद्धा बाणेन सहसा नतपर्वणा
stanaṃ dhayantīṃ susnigdhāṃ śiśoḥ kṣīrānurāgiṇaḥ | sā tena viddhā bāṇena sahasā nataparvaṇā
ಅವಳು ಸೌಮ್ಯಸ್ನೇಹದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗೆ ಹಾಲುಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು; ಮರಿ ತಾಯಿಹಾಲಿಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ನತಪರ್ವವಿರುವ ಬಾಣದಿಂದ ಅವಳು ಸಹಸಾ ವಿದ್ಧಳಾದಳು.
