निहत्य दानवान्संख्ये कृत्वा स्नानं सुनिर्झरे । विष्णुः प्राक्षालयत्तोयं तेन तन्मेध्यतां गतम्
nihatya dānavānsaṃkhye kṛtvā snānaṃ sunirjhare | viṣṇuḥ prākṣālayattoyaṃ tena tanmedhyatāṃ gatam
ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವು ಸುಂದರ ಜಲಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೇ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕ್ಷಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅದರಿಂದ ಆ ನೀರು ಮೇಧ್ಯತೆ (ಶುದ್ಧತೆ) ಪಡೆದಿತು.
