इन्द्र उवाच । भगवन्पुण्यमाहात्म्यं श्रोतुमिच्छामि सांप्रतम् । प्रमाणं चैव सर्वेषां कृतादीनां पृथग्विधम्
indra uvāca | bhagavanpuṇyamāhātmyaṃ śrotumicchāmi sāṃpratam | pramāṇaṃ caiva sarveṣāṃ kṛtādīnāṃ pṛthagvidham
ಇಂದ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಭಗವನ್! ನಾನು ಈಗ ಪುಣ್ಯದ ಮಾಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕೃತಾದಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಯುಗಗಳ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ.
