तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामो याथातथ्येन कथ्यताम् । न ह्यन्यो विद्यते लोके त्वद्विना वदतां वरः । तस्मात्कथ भो विप्र सर्वं शुश्रूषतां हि नः
tatsarvaṃ śrotumicchāmo yāthātathyena kathyatām | na hyanyo vidyate loke tvadvinā vadatāṃ varaḥ | tasmātkatha bho vipra sarvaṃ śuśrūṣatāṃ hi naḥ
ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನಡೆದಂತೆ ಯಥಾತಥವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ। ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೊರತು ವಕ್ತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಲ್ಲ। ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಓ ವಿಪ್ರ, ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳಿರಿ—ನಾವು ಶ್ರವಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ಸುಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ।
