ಆಮೇಲೆ ಶಂಭು ಸಾದರವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದನು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧನುಸ್ಸು-ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
