इंद्रद्युम्नापरिज्ञाने भद्रकोऽयं मुमूर्षति । तस्यानु मित्रं मार्कंडस्तं चान्वहमपि स्फुटम्
iṃdradyumnāparijñāne bhadrako'yaṃ mumūrṣati | tasyānu mitraṃ mārkaṃḍastaṃ cānvahamapi sphuṭam
ಇಂದ್ರದ್ಯುಮ್ನನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸದ ಕಾರಣ ಈ ಭದ್ರಕನು ಮರಣಾಸನ್ನನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಮಿತ್ರ ಮಾರ್ಕಂಡನೂ—ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿಯೇ—ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ (ಮರಣದ ಕಡೆ) ಹೋಗುವನು.
