ततः सती सा मत्स्पर्शदूषितांगी तपस्विनी । मया विमुक्ता स्नात्वा मां तथैवानुशशाप ह

ಅನಂತರ ಆ ಸತೀ ತಪಸ್ವಿನಿ—ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಿಂದ ದೂಷಿತವಾದ ಅಂಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ—ನನ್ನಿಂದ ವಿಮುಕ್ತಳಾಗಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದಳು।
