अर्जुन उवाच । मैवं मैवं ब्रूहि भीम न त्वं वेत्सि जनार्दनम् । न मया न त्वया पार्थ नान्येनाप्यरयो हताः
arjuna uvāca | maivaṃ maivaṃ brūhi bhīma na tvaṃ vetsi janārdanam | na mayā na tvayā pārtha nānyenāpyarayo hatāḥ
ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಭೀಮ, ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ, ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ಜನಾರ್ದನನನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೇ ಪಾರ್ಥ, ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನ್ನಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ (ಹತರಾದರು).”
