ततस्तथैव संतस्थौ बर्बरीकोऽभिरक्षणे । ततश्चतुर्थे यामे च प्राप्तः क्षपणकोऽद्भुतः
tatastathaiva saṃtasthau barbarīko'bhirakṣaṇe | tataścaturthe yāme ca prāptaḥ kṣapaṇako'dbhutaḥ
ಆಗ ಬರ್ಬರೀಕನು ಹಿಂದಿನಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾವಲಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತನು. ನಂತರ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಯಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ಷಪಣಕ ತಪಸ್ವಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದನು.
