ततः सुखासनो भूत्वा गुंगुरुभ्यो नमः इति । मंत्रमष्टोत्तरशतं जप्त्वा गुरुभ्यः प्रणम्य च । ततो गणेश्वरविधानमारब्धवान्
tataḥ sukhāsano bhūtvā guṃgurubhyo namaḥ iti | maṃtramaṣṭottaraśataṃ japtvā gurubhyaḥ praṇamya ca | tato gaṇeśvaravidhānamārabdhavān
ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಸುಖಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ‘ಗುರುಭ್ಯೋ ನಮಃ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ೧೦೮ ಬಾರಿ ಜಪಿಸಿ, ಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಳಿಕ ಗಣೇಶ್ವರ-ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು।
